Henry Morton Stanley was a Janus agent and was a journalist for the New York Herald. He was asked by the Janus leadership to find the Tomas Clue Bone and hunt down Tomas agent Dr. David Livingstone. He eventually found Dr. Livingstone but the Clue was already hidden. He was the one who created the quote "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?" He married a Welsh artist, Dorothy Tennant, and adopted one child named Denzil.
